1 10 ounce container of roasted red pepper hummus
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
½ teaspoon ground cumin
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 15 ounce can chick peas
Vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and oil 2 baking sheets. In a food processor, process chickpeas, hummus, breadcrumbs, cumin, garlic and coriander until well combined. Remove chickpea mixture from food processor and form veggie burger patties. Lightly brush veggie burgers with vegetable oil before placing on baking sheets. Place chickpea burgers in oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Flip burgers over and cook until both sides are lightly browned. When burger is browned and heated through, remove from oven. Let cool slightly before placing on hamburger buns and serving with your favorite raw veggies and condiments.
