6 ears corn
½ cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
Onion powder to taste
Thyme to taste
Remove husks and silks from the ears of corn. Save some of the husk to use as a wrapper for the corn when done. Boil water in a covered pot, add seasonings and reduce heat to simmer for five minutes. Steam corn over the boiling and seasoned water for about 7 minutes or until done. Remove from heat, and place on grill. Roast for three to five minutes or until corn appears toasted. Serve hot on the retained husk. Use the husks as environmentally friendly, biodegradable corn holders.
