4 cups vegetable broth
2 cups fresh green beans
1 ½ cups cubed potatoes
½ cup sliced carrot
1 diced onion
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon cilantro
¼ teaspoon dill
¼ teaspoon pepper
1/3 teaspoon salt
Additional salt and black pepper to taste
Cut green beans into 2 inch pieces and put in pot with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf before serving hot.
