Prep. Time : 1 Min
Cook Time : 5 Min
Ready Time : 10 Min
INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTION
2 ripe plantains
Vegetable oil for cooking
Salt to taste

Peel plantains and slice to create rounds.  Heat oil and fry until brown and cooked entirely. Drain plantains and sprinkle salt before serving warm.
NOTE
Plantains are ripe when they are no longer green and have turned yellow. They can have a few black spots on them while ripe. If there are many black spots, or the spots are touching each other, the plaintain is overripe and must be cooked immediately.
