1 ¼ cups firmly packed light brown sugar
¼ cup water
3 tablespoons honey
1 large egg
2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped or ground pecans
2 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground allspice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and oil at least 2 large baking sheets. In a large bowl, combine sugar, water, honey and egg and beat until well combined. In another bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and allspice. Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture until both mixtures are well combined. Stir in the ground pecans. Take 2 tablespoons and drop cookie dough portions onto baking sheets leaving at least 1 inch between cookies. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light brown. Remove cookies from oven and allow to cool on cookie racks.
